Inchworm Arch

Inchworm Arch is really two arches – a large one connected to a smaller one. This double arch is what coined it’s name as it looks like a long inchworm making it’s way down the canyon wall when viewed from the right angle. Inchworm arch is a perfect reminder that our landscape is continuously changing as over millions of years water, ice, and wind create these most unpredictable natural spectacles.

Temporary Tour Closures (Wildfire Advisory)

House Rock Valley Road is currently closed south of The Wave because of the White Sage wildfire. As a result, White Pocket and Coyote Buttes South are inaccessible, and all access roads into White Pocket are shut down. Fire crews expect progress within the next week or two, but the reopening date is still uncertain.

We’ll post updates the moment conditions change—thank you for your patience and stay safe!
